Stainless Steel Expansion Joints

Pipeline systems are exposed to temperature variations, setting in foundations, forces and deformations causing movement and/or stress in the system. Loggers’ Balance® series stainless steel expansion joints or compensators are used for settling ground and foundation, compensation of movements and noise-reduction.

The double-ply bellows of all Balance® expansion joints ensure longer lifetime and allow a relatively larger displacement than regular compensators. Loggers Balance® series expansion joints outperform all traditional single-wall compensators. They are suitable for high temperatures and are commonly applied in exhaust gas systems, such as our LEXSYS® solutions, to isolate vibrations and cope with thermal expansion and contraction.

Balance Expansion Joint

The high quality of Loggers stainless steel expansion joints is underlined by type approvals by certification authorities such as ABS, Bureau Veritas and DNV GL. Flanges according to DIN or ASA are available for nearly every type. Delivery times are short, as Loggers holds stock for all compensators up to DN1200. However, our portfolio is not limited to standard expansion joints only: Loggers also provides clients worldwide with custom expansion joints tailored to their specific needs.

Suitable for compensation of expansion, contraction and misalignment in systems under high pressure. Relatively short stainless steel expansion joint with rotatable flanges acc. to DIN 86044. Allows easy installation in situations where space is limited. Due to its construction it is capable of compensating relatively large movements. Typically supplied at pre-stressed length in order to reduce reaction forces to the foundation. Max. operating temperature: +550 °C, max. working pressure 2.5 bar (at +120 °C). Type approvals: BV
